Commission A Legislator Visits Lenteng Agung Residents

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission A Legislator, August Hamonongan visited RT 01/03 Jagakarsa Urban Village, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, on Monday (8/10) night.

In this visit, he was accompanied by several apparatuses of South Jakarta Government to hear directly the locals aspirations and socialize Jakarta Government's development programs.

In this chance, Lenteng Agung residents wanted women and young people to get an opportunity to be RT Head.

"I want RT candidates are from people in productive age and women," said Ridwan, one of Lenteng Agung Urban Village residents.

Related to their requests, August conveyed that his commission support RT to maintain transparent and proportional. Especially for female RT candidates thus they can get the same opportunities.

"But I also expect residents, both men and women, to be proactive from young age and show their seriousness for their environment, Government will surely maintain the democratic RT," he stated.
